Morrisons Plant Revolution
Vegetable Burger gets three out of five stars. I cooked the burger by putting
the patty in the microwave for two minutes and then on the stove at medium to
high heat for at least ten minutes. While I was flipping it, the patty came
apart and the inside contents spilt out a little.
Morrisons Plant Revolution Burger has a
crumble coating on the outside and has a variety of vegetables on the inside. The
burger is vegan and is a good option for those who want to get more vegetables in
their meal, compared to a meat or soy burger. The vegetables and wheat flour in
the patty reminded me of a pot pie and gave the patty a different texture. The
lack of flavor in the patty could have been easily hidden if I used condiments.
The burger has just over 201 calories and has only 3.8g of protein. The burger
contains only 8.9g of fat, 0.8 of which is saturated fat. I bought this burger
in a pack of four for £1.75 ($2.32), which is significantly cheaper than other meat
and veggie burgers I’ve seen. This burger would be a great way to sneak
vegetables into a child’s diet, but would need to be supplemented with some
type of protein on the side.

Seems reasonable price, with condiments I think it would fool most children
